GRADUATES & PRACTITIONERS

” Anodea’s classes through Sacred Centers opened my eyes to new possibilities. The Chakra system added multiple dimensions of understanding to everything I had already studied. I was so inspired, I joined the faculty! Psychology of the Chakras was a revelation. Although I had studied developmental psychology and physiology in school, the course expanded my understanding of human development, tying in spiritual and cultural evolution to individual growth. I now have a map of the territory – the full expanse of human development, from individual maturation to the maturation of civilizations across our entire human history. Collaborating with Anodea on the Creation is Ecstasy, Manifestation Workshop, has been an ecstatic and deeply moving journey.”

Lisa Powell-Watts, M.Ed.
Sacred Centers Healer

Lisa has been a practicing psychotherapist for over 35 years. She is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Professional Counselor-Supervisor, and Chemical Dependency Counselor. About 20 years ago she began studying the chakras and found a direct correlation between her clients’ issues and their impaired chakra development. That led her to study with UK psychiatrist and Spiritual Healer, Dr. Brenda Davies. About 3 years ago she started taking classes with Anodea Judith and applying what she learned there with her clients.

Lisa is the director of the Institute for Integrated Healing in Brenham, Texas and has a healing practice in Katy, Texas where she blends psychotherapy with Chakra Healing. She also leads a 3-year Healing School for helping professionals and others interested in learning about and healing their chakras. They also learn how to use these techniques with their clients. She has just finished her first book Chakra Healing: A New Path Forward in Treating Addictions and Other Issues, which hopefully will be published the beginning of 2020.

One of Lisa’s passions is teaching all kinds of healing professionals about the chakras and biofield so that they can add this skill to their counseling repertoires. She has found Chakra Healing to be a very powerful addition to addictions counseling, grief counseling, treatment for depression and anxiety, couples’ counseling, and for individuals just wanting to further their spiritual growth.

Melinda Madhuri Matzell
Sacred Centers Teacher
Chakra-Energetics Creator

Melinda, a Certified Sacred Centers Chakra Yoga Teacher, has her traditional training in Sivananda Yoga. Into her traditional practice and teaching, Melinda weaves her experience as a certified Mudra Teacher and Therapist, Energy Medicine Yoga Teacher and Clear Your Beliefs Practitioner. Melinda is the creator of Chakra-Energetics which is a unique blend of yoga asanas, energy medicine and yoga mudras that enhance the effects of the yoga practice on our physical body and energetic systems. Integrated into the mat practice, along with channeled guidance, these practices create an empowering experience of healing and Self discovery.

Understanding that our physical illnesses and dis-eases are manifestations of energetic imbalances, Melinda is thoroughly intrigued with practices that offer us simple tools to realign our subtle systems and promote the body’s own capacity for healing. Mudras (hand yoga) place our arms and hands in specific positions to create a direct line of communication with the chakras. This helps us balance and align our sacred centers. Energy Medicine Yoga incorporates simple energy medicine principles into the mat practice that help our energy systems integrate and evolve to help face the challenges of our environment and maintain our health and vitality.

Melinda offers a variety of workshops, retreats, and teacher trainings as well as open, private and semi-private sessions. A description of her workshops and events can be found at her website, and include required courses for Sacred Centers Co-heart Certification; Creating On Purpose, Chakra Yoga Teacher Training and Energy Awareness. Chakra-Energetic events provide a sacred space for inquiry and reflection on the journey of Self discovery and manifesting our divine assignment.

BradCassidy_GradPicBrad Cassidy
Sacred Centers Teacher

Brad Cassidy was raised and worked for the first half of his life in the primal beauty of the forests of coastal British Columbia, which anchored in his heart a deep love for the Divine Mother. A life-long seeker, his faith was eroded by humanity’s seeming indifference to our grave problems and vast potentials. The resulting isolation and despair pushed him into a profound crisis of meaning, until in 1993 a chance encounter with body and breath work provided him with a direct experience of his authentic nature.

Since that time he has re-dedicated his life to love, authenticity and creativity, focusing on the development of embodied awareness and training extensively with various cutting-edge leaders of the human potential movement. Ultimately, he realized his calling was the cultivation and teaching of the wisdom of the heart. He is the developer and facilitator of the Heartwisdom Program, a series of workshops using body, breath, movement, and cognitive processes to empower individuals to live a rich, heart-centered life.

Presently Brad has decided to limit his teaching efforts to offering Level 3 of the Heartwisdom Program; the work of Anodea as put forth in Eastern Body/Western Mind. A condensed version of the work is offered annually at The Haven on Gabriola Island, B. C., and at other locations in various formats by request. Details of this offering can be found here: http://www.heartwisdom.ca/psychology-of-the-chakras.html

The reduction of workshop offerings has been to allow Brad to focus on writing his first book, which is an inquiry into the trajectory of Western thought, how it has brought us to the place we are now and what evolutionary potentials lay hidden within it.

Integrational Psychotherapy
Sacred Centers Healer

I am a psychotherapist and yoga therapist who has been practicing in New York City for over twenty years. In my work with people I draw from various eastern traditions as well as western perspectives in psychotherapy and movement and various forms of bodywork.  Using the tools at my disposal, I strive to create a safe “container” – a trusting environment within which people can enter into a process through which they may find compassionate self-acceptance and peace of mind. Here, the particular complexities and nuances of a person’s experience can naturally emerge and be comfortably explored. Utilizing the body as a vehicle for enhancing self awareness, we work together to facilitate a present-moment consciousness that opens the door to healing.

For many years prior to starting her private practice in 1997, Gail provided training and counseling to individuals in corporations across the United States.

It is Gail’s desire to understand the total needs of her clients and to work with them to improve their health and well-being through natural methods.

She also has a beautiful Bed & Breakfast in the Adirondacks of NY. They gear their place toward “yogis” and have a lovely, fully-equipped yoga room in the place.

In 1997, after many successful years in advertising agencies, Anjali started her training in to become a spiritual healer, studying Prana Healing and OLHT (One Light Healing Touch) and with many shamans and international healers in Germany. She has been teaching and conducting private healing practice since2001 as an energy healer with deep sensitivity for mental and physical ailments. She began in Holland with Sacred Centers courses in 2006 and took her teacher training in India, with many trips to the U.S. as well, studying and assisting Anodea in her teaching in the U.S. and Holland.

Her special project for graduation was creating yoga teaching for Down’s Syndrome.

Christine Anjali Wittmann runs her private practice as a spiritual healer and energy therapist since 2001. She was trained in several methods to scan and run energy, and developed a deep sensitivity and a visionary in(ner)sight which help her clients to feel at least strongly energized, reach their potential or enhance their self healing powers. She also teaches courses in healing techniques and aura/energy awareness. With her profound advertising and marketing knowledge from many years as an account manager, she initiated a circle of workshops for spiritual workers to gain more confidence in all aspects of business. Back from her international Yoga teacher certification in India, she started in January 2008 to teach Down Syndrome adults in Yoga, and is currently producing a DVD on How-to-Teach them. Christine Anjali graduated from Sacred Centers Certification Program in October 2009 as a Chakra Teacher, is doing the basic Sacred Centers curriculum, and has the honor of being Anodea’s representative of Sacred Centers in Germany.

Private healing sessions, participation on the German workshops and her spiritual Newsletter “spiritBiz” can be looked up, booked and registered on her website.
