Experience hands-on practical training in conducting therapeutic sessions and utilizing the material taught in Techniques of Mind-Body Integration: Level 1 and Chakra Awakening: Psychology of the Chakras and also Intro to Chakra Therapy - offered in New York from March 16-17, 2013. Students will watch Anodea work therapeutically with other students and then will conduct their own sessions on each other with Anodea’s guidance. This is a chance to both do your own work as well as enhance your skills working with others.

This advanced workshop is limited to 12 people who have already taken the Techniques of Mind-Body Integration: Level 1 course or Intro to Chakra Therapy - offered in New York from March 16-17, 2013, and fully read Eastern Body,Western Mind and preferably taken Chakra Awakening: Psychology of the Chakras.

It is open to anyone with the pre-requisites, however, preference is given to those in the Sacred Centers Certification Healer Track. Each iteration of this course is different because we learn from the issues that show up in the students. If you have taken this class before, you will find a completely new set of therapeutic examples to learn from. In general however the topics covered are as follows:

1. Assessment for chakra diagnosis, character structure, and trauma
2. Charging and discharging: techniques, do’s and don'ts
3. Getting to the Core
4. Mending the wounds, re-negotiating trauma
5. Balancing the chakras
6. Working with client resistance
7. Therapist ethics and self-care
